Why Ty McMillan built RingForeman

Ty McMillan founded RingForeman in October 2026 to solve a problem he knows from the jobsite: calls that come in while the crew is working.

Ty has spent more than 20 years leading construction crews and managing operations. On a working jobsite, the person who should answer the phone is usually the one with tools in hand. RingForeman is his answer to that: AI phone answering built only for contractors.

RingForeman answers every call, day or night. It asks the questions a good office manager would ask, such as what the job is, where it is and how soon it's needed. It flags urgent jobs right away and sends the contractor a clean call summary by email, so the callback starts with everything they need. Missed-call text-back and text summaries are coming soon.

The idea behind it is the same one Ty brings to every crew: safety first, then schedule, then the client. A contractor who can stay on the tools without losing the next customer is a contractor who can keep all three.

Also from Ty

Ty is also the owner of Charleston Bench Advisory LLC, which gives homeowners in the Wasatch Back independent bid and budget advice and works only for the owner. He shares life in the Heber Valley with his partner, Alyssa Price, who works in marketing and content at RingForeman.
