What Charleston Bench Advisory does
Ty McMillan started Charleston Bench Advisory LLC in October 2026 to give Heber Valley homeowners an independent second set of eyes on construction bids and budgets.
Charleston Bench Advisory works only for the homeowner, never for the builder, so the advice stays on the side of the people writing the checks. Owners use it to compare contractor proposals, pressure-test a remodel budget, and keep track of draws and change orders, including from out of town. The findings come back in writing, and the owner keeps every contract and every decision.
The practice serves Heber City, Midway, Charleston, Park City and the broader Wasatch Back, drawing on Ty's more than 20 years of construction and operations leadership: running crews, keeping projects moving, and seeing how bids, budgets and change orders actually behave in the field.
